Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy utilizes platelets taken from the patient's own blood to help rebuild damaged ligaments, tendons or cartilage. PRP therapy concentrates the patient's platelets at a much higher volume than our bodies' natural healing process. The PRP is injected into the site of the injury to initiate and quicken the healing process.
