For more than a decade, Advanced Pain Centers of Alaska has been in the business of relieving pain and restoring function to Alaska’s people. A multidisciplinary approach to treatment is our gold standard when it comes to helping our patients with acute or chronic pain. Through advanced interventional procedures and partnerships with other healthcare providers, we have helped countless Alaskans achieve the quality of life they deserve. As established leaders in the field, Advanced Pain Centers of Alaska has introduced quality interventional pain services to many areas of the state. Busy Surgery Center Seeks a Part-Time RN 

Enjoy coming to work, practice interesting nursing, dramatically improve your patients’ quality of life and be part of a great team in an AAAHC accredited work environment- all at the same time.  This busy Anchorage surgery center with a pain specialty focus seeks a Part-Time (3 days per week; Tues., Wed. mornings & Thurs.). RN will provide pre- and post- operative care in the surgery area. You may train to provide conscious sedation as well.

Education, Skills and Experience: Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.  Minimum one year of professional nursing experience, with strong skills in clinic nursing, or surgery center / OR / Recovery Room.

Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Alaska.   BLS / ACLS Certification required and strong IV skills are a must.  Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, be team oriented and customer service focused.

Hours will vary with clinic needs- no weekends or holidays.  We are an EOE and offer a competitive salary.

This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Nursing.
